Dr. Carolee Dasher-Lorius
Inventor of Worth 360°

Dr. Carolee Dasher-Lorius is a “go-to” planner with over 25 years of experience. Her savvy strategies join her uncompromising integrity as the hallmark of her services. Her interest in planning began with studying economics and "The Revenue Act of 1978".   This act,  through 401(k)'s and like plans have shifted risk and expense from employers to employees. The greatest shift included the expense of providing retirement income.

Today, federal civil service retirement (FERS) replaces only 33% of pre-retirement income falling from 56.25%. This means  a FER's employee is now responsible  for providing a large portion of future retirement income.  The same on the other side where  the federal uniform service  retirement is designed to replace only 50% of military retirement income. These deficits together, average an approximate 42%  drop  in income replacement benefits. At minimum, economic analysts predict  an 80% income replacement factor is necessary     to meet retirement  needs.

"I get it. This is where I saw a tremendous need in helping others understand the complexity of employee benefits and future planning. I love analytics and I have the opportunity to share  knowledge. I believe with knowledge, good decisions follow. We live in a world where economic defensive planning is a daily need. We must plan where everything counts because the  4% retirement income distribution rule is cancelled by inflation alone. "

Over the years, she has become recognized as a respected authority in planning for federal employees. Carolee speaks nationally, teaches and authors on many topics concerning federal employee benefits and  financial planning.   She emphasizes the importance of integrating public and private systemic benefits and entitlements.

Carolee is regarded as an honest, hard-working mother. She enjoys volunteering, boating, reading, bible studies and gardening in her leisure.
